🧠 DESCRIPTION
A Poiesis follows a poem's act of creation from initial thread to final tapestry. It's a record of the meditative joy of bringing into being something that did not exist before, while also demonstrating provenance.
"The List" was written for Rattlecast #174 on the afternoon of December 26, 2022, based on a prompt to flip through a book and randomly choose 10 words to include in a poem. The words were pulled from John Brehm's, No Day at the Beach—John being the guest for that episode.
Every moment of composition is recorded, shown here at 7x speed. The poem took 44 minutes in total to write, pausing for several interruptions, shown with a blinking cursor. Once finished, it is read by the poet.
