Room 5 — Algorithmic Narrative

Room 5 — Algorithmic Narrative

When images are generated through systems

The image is no longer remembered.

It is generated.

Narrative becomes a system of relations.

The image is no longer singular.

It is produced, replicated, and positioned within systems that organize how it appears and how it is valued.

In this room, images are not defined by what they represent, but by how they exist in relation to others.

They are selected, compared, and structured.

At the same time, images can now be generated.

They emerge through processes that allow variation without limit, where form is no longer fixed and authorship becomes distributed.

The image shifts from object to system.

Meaning no longer resides in the image itself, but in the structures that produce and organize it.

Curatorial Note

The image becomes a unit within a system.

Narrative is no longer told— it is organized.

Meaning is no longer contained— it is produced through structure.
